Co-operations

Advisory mandates are often complex and require larger teams and a variety of technical skills. This is particularly the case in the area of sector-specific-regulated-markets (telecommunications, broadcasting, postal services, energy) and IT projects, where legal issues are often closely connected to economic and technical issues. Many legal practice areas are largely regulated by the EU, but some national characteristics still remain. In many consultation projects, inspecting neighbouring legislation is necessary or at least helpful.

Therefore, and in order to practice in multidisciplinary and international issues and procedures at the highest possible level, we have a large and diverse international network of legal and business advisers and we maintain a number of good co-operations. Among these are:

Up to September 2012, we were part of JUCONOMY Attorneys at Law / Düsseldorf. Since then, our partnership has continued as a good co-operation. This co-operation is especially strong in the areas of telecommunications and energy law as well as data protection law.

o. Univ. Prof. i.R. Dr. Heinrich Otruba

With the former rector of the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna and former director of the Austrian Broadcasting and Telecom Regulatory Authority, we have been closely working together on a project-by-project basis for many years. Examples of this co-operation include: international arbitration concerning a telecommunications infrastructure in an Eastern European country, a cost regulation procedure before the German Regulatory Authority (BNetzA) and a study for a South-European telecommunications market.
